1964: Harry (Sr.) & Louise Morningstar went into business as Waynesboro Decorators. Harry & Louise carried all types of flooring, as well as wallpaper, window treatments, paint, and also offered design services.

1988: Chuck Morningstar took over Waynesboro Decorators, now known as Waynesboro Floor Covering and specializes in all types of flooring services.

1993: Waynesboro Floor Covering entered the carpet and upholstery cleaning business with our first truck-mounted professional cleaning equipment

2000: Joined the Flooring America buying co-operative

2007: (January) The Waynesboro Floor Covering warehouse had caught fire due to spontaneous combustion in the engine compartment in one of the five company trucks parked inside. Thus resulting in losing all inventory, trucks, tools and equipment, and supplies. Despite being under-insured, we were back on the road within two days installing again. This was thanks to vendors who rushed shipments to us, employees who brought tools from home, and a local business who offered extra warehouse space to us as we rebuilt.

2008: (June) We moved back into our re-built warehouse, which now resembles the old Waynesboro Fire Station.

2010: Victor Morningstar graduated Shippensburg University and now entered the business full-time, and is training into the third generation in our company.
